THIS GROUP BUY HAS NOW COME TO AN END... ;)

This buy expires this SUNDAY!! 4/10/11

Thanks again to the guys at KESSLER CRANE!!

Hi guys,

have been researching a lot on what the Bets Slider would be for RED ONE, EPIC or SCARLETT, and my final decision was that
the Cine SLider from Kessler Crane, is by far the best out there, things I love about it is that with the Manual Crank movements
can be fine controlled, no matter the slop of the Slider, even when placed 45 to 90 degreed to create a ascending or descending
dolly shot. One other very important feature is the possibility to adjust Friction, so your Dolly shot can be extremely well controlled and super Smooth.

I have found some sliders to get frost bites and then impede the smoothness of the movement for which we got the slider in the
first place, and I have found that this is not the case with the Cine Slider, important factor for those using it in very low
temperatures as we have.

So I like to thank Eric and Chris at Kessler Crane for giving us the opportunity of this Group Buy :)

For more info on the Cine SLider please visit: CINE SLIDER

Purchase of 5 to 10 Units of the Combine order for the 3' or 5' Cine SLider will receive a discount of 10%

Purchase of 10+ Units of the Combine order for the 3' or 5' Cine SLider will receive a discount of 15%

*Please note the discount is offered on the Cine Slider only not on their accessories.

Lets start a List here, please respond to this Thread with a confirmation that you want in to this Group by, and which Cine Slider you wish to buy.

Once you get me the list of e-mails of who is going to do the group buy, Kessler will generate a temporary (3 day) discount code for their website shopping cart,
then it will be sent out to all the members of the group. They will then place their order through the website, so they can add on any additional items they may need.

Just got the PB Pocket Dolly by Kessler Crane, or else I'd be in on this deal!
Great slider, great company :)

I am in for 5'. So we put money on some special account or Kessler guys follow this thread?

You are already in Aleksandar, he he one of the Mods added in for me, thanks guys ;)

NO payment and or anything need other then just PM me your email address, so that I can in turn pass that on, to get the Special
Code via Email to take the purchase, once we get to the dead line ;)

Ketch great idea. Is there anyway we can close the deal after NAB so those of us can at least see them in person? I think sales will easily double.

Well this offering is made to get us a Slider asap, however there could always be the possibility for a second Group buy,
but that I can not Promise ;)

Anyone know if there is any advantage in useing the Kessler Hercules 2.0 head
vs. just a regular camera head. Are there any types of shots that you can
only get with the Herdcules 2.0 head combined with the cine slider..?

With the Hercules Head you have the possibility to mount the cine slider directly to it by using two screws. You won't have any movement, it is a very stable connection.

The Hercules head is made for the cranes and is very stable. It makes vertical Slider movements in any angle very easy.

Michael

thanks..but can't you use a regular camera head to do such vertical
movements also..?

I don't see why not, however I do see the advantage of the Hercules as shown in this video http://www.kesslercrane.com/cineslider-s/34.htm
but you could always just get the Cine Slider and test it with your Fluid Head, and if not happy by the results then you can always get the Hercules Head,
however it goes the discount only applies to the Cine Slider no matter how many other accessories are purchased at the same time.

You can use a normal fluid head as well.

The brake and the stability should be sufficient for a Camera load on a mini jib (the slider). I tried it with a Sachtler Panorama plus head and a camera load of 6 kg, the Brakes and the stability for a 45° move vertically was not sufficient for a smooth movement.

Hi Ketch:

1058 "Secretariat" just completed a 15 minute short we have submitted to Cannes, BTW. She is doing great. Thanks.

Quick question - is this silent enough to be a "sync sound" slider?

Good to hear that Richard, best of luck ;)

Yes as Michael Answered and generously provided a link to us, thanks Michael, the Cine Slider is perfect for any applications even when silence is a must.

Also what I like to add is that there are s many accessories that one can add one at the time as needed,
that makes the Cine Slider something you can build on.

Ketch, deste jeito nao conseguirei conhecer a Italia heheh...

more money without planing ;)

count me in!! 5ft
