  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy for Kessler Crane "CINE SLIDER" 3' & 5' ;)

Wondering why is everyone going for 5' ? Seems to me like most slider shots (unless you are doing timelapse) are shorter than 3' ?
 
I'm interested because I want to use the slider vertically as well as horizontally. I'd use the full length for a "boots to hat" shot.
I'm also interested in experimenting with it as a sort of quick jib.

Joel, it was the plan but the group buy would have been extended too long and all of those that asked for the extension for after NAB already have placed their orders.

We did extended as much as it was possible, and as you can see there are already 25 buyers in this group.

Little confusion..isn't this Sunday 4/10/11 ???

Also think people wanted post-NAB to consider how to budget overall funds for the year.
But offer has gone on so long...post-Nab would only be adding 5 more days to it.

Hi im Im thinking of grabbing a cineslider before the discount goes out tonight. But I still have hard time choosing between the 3 and 5 foot. The thing that concerns me is the convenient vs performance. Using the 3 foot cineslider
i know I would get superfast setups. But with two tripods with the 5foot I thinks its more work to adjust all tripod legs if the ground is uneven. Do anybody here have a good way to setup up the 5foot? Do you use a ballmount on your two support tripods or something. How do you setup up your 90 degre shoots or leaning shots? If you get the "high hat" mount you could tweak it little more easy. Any tips?
