GROUP BUY - DJI Ronin R2

I recently saw the R2 Combo Kit and it looks very similar to what's in this GB. What is the difference between Combo Kit and GB Package?

Nothing, other than savings over $1k and priority shipping!

Since we are checking out on the DJI site for this, do you know if it is eligible for the Affirm financing they offer on normal purchases?

I would think it would work, but not 100% sure since Affirm isn't associated with DJI and DJI is the one providing the discount.

Hi Michael,

Here is a better way to go through this. If you have a good credit card, pay for the R2 with that card. Then open a higher limit card (say .... Discover card or something similar) and transfer the balance to that card. By doing so, you'll get (in some cases), up to 18 months of 0% interest. Give it a try. You'll save a few bucks eh?

Most all of you have seen the photos online, videos, and know most of the product details. Here are some detailed snap shots of the final production unit that you may not have seen yet.

Catering to details, there is a decal indicating the way the items are placed into the custom foam.

This is the final mounting solution. We went with a dovetail system because it's reliable and trusted.

This new joystick lets you control speeds of each axis and start/stop for RED and Arri and any future cameras. The directions of each axis can be remapped directly on the Ronin 2.

The Professional Combo comes with a Triple P-Tap expansion box which can be mounted right under the bottom of the camera base plate.

The pogo-pin hub on the bottom of the gimbal. This has the built in remote start/stop and also communicates with the RED RCP.

The dual battery mounting system. This can be removed from the Ronin 2 and remotely mounted. It also provides 2 P-Tap 14.4V ports. It can be used independently from the Ronin 2 and provide power to cameras and accessories as well.

Here's an external overview and review of a pre-production Ronin 2.

Wow Paul this is got to be about the best video to learn a product I have ever seen. DJI should just post it on their site as to how to for the R2. Thank you for that.
After going through the review video and checking around this has to be one of the best GB's ever..
This will be a beast of a production tool.
Thank you again Chriss for putting this together.
