  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

My first post basically talks about the benefits over other gimbals. It's what this one has that others don't. I don't want to get into gimbal bashing and which one is better, but in my honest opinion, this is the best one I have ever used...hands down (and I've used them all).

How's the weight compared to Tilta Gravity? Can you run it off 1 battery? How long after the GB concludes do we have to make payment?

It becomes more of a nightmare logistically for them and this GB is for the R2, not just the Inspire. Maybe if we hit a crazy amount of orders it will be an option, but as of right now, it's not.

I think the Gravity was around 6 lbs with a battery right? So this is a tad heavier at 9 lbs, but again, you get to cut weight since you're powering cam and all accessories off the R2 batteries. And yes, you can run the R2 with one battery without effect gimbal function or balance.

The actual RR attachments aren't included. You can pick up some third party options from Cinemilled - the product on their site that you're looking for is the Spindles. You could also just use what comes with the Ronin and still use the RR by attaching the straps of the RR to the Ronin R2 itself, and using the hand rests on the R2 as a way to keep the ReadRig Straps in place. Works fine.
 
Couple questions...

Does anyone know what the run time is if I am powering a Epic-W and a DJI focus?

I have the Cinemills square and spindles for my original Ronin. Is the DJI cage/square the same diameter? Will my spindles work with it?
