  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hah, it was. But it's work that I don't mind. I believe in Digital Sputnik's brand and they are good people. And I love contributing to this community, which I find is a helpful, friendly resource. So it's a win-win. Glad you all dug it!
 
I thought this was going for 2 weeks, did not know that it would/could close early? It would have been nice to get some warning as I was seriously considering the deal with 2 lights/case/blade. Sorry I missed it.

This was yesterday --
"You aren't late, this party is just wild! We are only 3.5 days in...hah!"

Maybe put me down in case someone on the list cancels?

I haven't yet received an email... and I'm #4 on the GB list. I'd give it a little bit of time. I'm sure they have quite a bit of sorting to do.


EDIT: The "email" just came in. Go check it out. And if you haven't sent in your info yet, get on it :)
Sounds like single unit orders may even start shipping by the end of the week!

Yep, I see it too. It's a nice update from them and (unsurprisingly) it certainly sounds like they have their hands full and they're working hard on it. Very exciting!

This might be the shortest (time wise) and most successful GB ever.
 
Hi

To be brutally honest we are struggling already to keep the promises for this GB therefore we felt that to stop is a fair thing to do. We had a new batch of 100 of the DS1 PSU's coming in from first production batch and we expected to sell here 10-20 units... (some units were already pre-sold). Therefore we are still lacking some AC/DC converters, peli cases and some tripod mounts that are coming in shortly (few weeks) to fulfill this batch.
So Thank You all for such support and interest in our products - we have changed our production plans quite a bit based on this feedback and should have another 100 units available from July (some of the electronics components are rather long delivery time to get reasonable pricing). We are still a very small company yet we value our customers and have had the logistics team working through long weekend to speed up the production process and keep the sales price intact.

If You guys would like another GB just send me a private message or reply to this thread and I can keep you posted when we would be able to fulfill next orders. There is a campaign coming up for DS3 sets so keep an eye on our social media channels and carpe diem!

About card payments outside of US (in US the local office can deal with card payments without a hassle) then again EU side has some problems with services that Banks provide here and we are looking for a quick solution (hopefully in 2 days we will have that solved as well). Money transfer is the easiest way to deal with non US payments.

Kaspar,

I think I speak for all GB participants when I say that we are truly grateful for the opportunity that this group buy has provided. I know I'm definitely going to be social media blasting my kit all over Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and my personal website as soon as it comes in, and I'm sure many others on the list will be doing the same. Take your time, get it right, we'll be patient. Thanks again!
