  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - Digital Sputnik DS1 - Pt II

Made payment yesterday, Via wire Wells Fargo to Wells Fargo, unfortunately theres still a $30 fee to do wires :/. Was also told the handling fee would be returned once payment was made via wire not sure how that works because that would equate to $60 in wire fees lol
 
We are sorry for the confusion on the payment side. Hopefully this post will answer most of your questions. If not you can reach me directly with any questions at Kaur@digitalsputnik.com
- There is a CC handling fee in case you are paying with a Credit Card. This fee can be avoided if payed by check or wire transfer.
- There is a flat 100 USD shipping fee anywhere globally. All GB products will be shipped directly from our factory in Estonia.
- In case your billing address is in California we need to charge you sales tax. In case you have teleproduction tax rate then please share the document with us and we can charge a reduced tax rate.
- For EU customers the VAT can be waived in case you can provide us with a VAT number.

In case you got an invoice that has wrong disount on it, please reach out o me directly at kaur@digitalsputnik.com.

I was told not to pay yet since the invoice was the incorrect amount. Do you know when you'll start sending out correct invoices?
 
Man I've emailed multiple times to get my invoice and still haven't received it. I'm in the middle of moving to a new home and all I asked was A. How soon can you ship it so I can provide you with the preferred delivery address" & B. "Can I split the purchase on two credit cards". I wanted to use these on a shoot next Friday. Doesn't look like it's going to happen. With all these additional fees included that I wasn't aware of until recently, the savings keep shrinking and shrinking. I'm grateful we all got this opportunity but I wish the ordering process was more streamlined on Digital Sputnik's part. Shoot I'm still waiting for my damn Voyagers too. At this point I feel like a hooker getting constantly slapped by a pimp.

I'm sorry about that. I agree that the payment part of this should be clear, straightforward and simple.

Re: additional fees. The only additional fee I'm aware of is a cc processing fee which can be avoided by using an alternate payment. I'm messaging DS now to see if I can work something out. Thanks for being patient.

UPDATE: Core SWX would also like to offer their X2 HC9 Mini 2-battery kit w/charger as an add-on option for those purchasing the DS1 kit. Retail pricing on the Hypercore 9 Mini kit is $950 and will be $200 off as part of the DS1 kit purchase.

UPDATE 2: Regarding the 3% cc processing fee, Digital Sputnik is going to waive this moving forward and will refund anyone who has already paid the 3% fee. Sorry for any confusion, hopefully we have invoices and fees all sorted out moving forward.

Thanks Travis, good to hear. For clarity, are we at this price for the core nano's
"10+ sets DS1 kit with Core SWX 2-battery Nano kit w/charger ($5650 - 1375 = $4275)"
or do we have to hit 10+ battery orders? And are the core purchases taxed in CA?

Yes, the Core discount is based of DS1 sets sold so we are already at maximum discount! I'll follow up on CA taxes, thanks.

Thanks for the organizing the group buy man. Can you put me down for 1 DS1 (AB) set with the SWX HC9 mini (AB) batteries and charger and two extension cords please
 
Would I be able to just purchase the DS1 PSU and get the group buy discount? I already own 3 DS3 and would just like to purchase the DS1 PSU since I can use the DS Light module from my DS3. Would be good to have battery power for some applications. Thanks.
