  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY: Cinegears Wireless Follow Focus Christmas Special!

I cant imagine they have anywhere enough stock to cover this GB.

I ordered one a couple months back (when there was no pressure of a GB) and eventually cancelled that order after I was told the item had shipped, then seemingly not shipped. Then delayed due to a storm that had passed Hong Kong a little too long ago for my liking.

Fingers crossed these 50+ orders go smoother than my single order.
 
just found out mine is being delivered today!!!
 
just got mine and tested it out!!! Wow very simple to set up and runs like a dream, tested it on my RED 18-50 PL and the motor was working perfect with little noise too. so grateful for this group buy very happy with it :)

Just had call from DHL for a Customs payment, its not huge, but none the less its extra cost, and extra time before delivery.
Thought i would mention it so other europeans on the buy know they may get a call from DHL etc.

I too got a computer-generated shipping notification. Presumably like everyone else, in the place on the notification where it says tracking number, the area is blank. Also the notice doesn't say what the carrier is. (I'm in the US). As I recall, I ordered several days after ordering opened. We're getting there.

Jamon, I am not in charge of shipping nor do I work for Cinegears, so I don't know why some are getting tracking and others not. Rest assured, you will ALL get your orders. Cinegears is a reputable company, and I wouldn't back a product that wasn't going to deliver. Patience guys.

I've never had any issues with mine. There are a couple of spacers in between the nut and metal clamp part. Try removing those.

Hmm...the spacer I'm talking about are between the wing-screw and the first metal piece. However, you don't want it to be too tight on the rod. You should be able to move it when you pull it away from the lens. If it's too tight, you could damage the focus ring on your lens. Adjust the height of the motor with the vertical adjustment on the actual 15mm adapter rod thing which should get you the proper angle/contact with the lens.
 
Received the kit today, works perfectly! The extra power cable that I ordered was not in the case, but I'm sure they'll send it along when then can. Super happy with the purchase so far! Thanks for putting this together Chris!
