I am in for the 150M !
Again a good GB via Chris, thanks !

Gotcha down!

the Ghost Eye 150m, 300m, 400m features 10bit HD SDI/HDMI 4:2:2, 4:4:4, no latency uncompressed wireless video transmission, real time HDMI and SDI cross converting, audio and time code can be transmited as well. those model is designed for real time focus puller, DOP, Art Director, on set colorist...

the Ghost Eye 100m features 8 bit uncompressed no latency wireless video transmission. It can be used for focus pulling, external capturing, on set mornintoring,

the Ghost Eye 500s and 900s is designed for long range 8 bit h.264 codec wireless video transmission,it is perfect for broadcasting, live TV show, on set distribution through Wifi, Internet, live streaming via cloud..

the connex, DJI light bridge...features 8 bit compressed HDMI video transmission, it is designed for long range Remot drone controll, connex can not be used for focus pulling.

As Steven mentioned, this is uncompressed and zero latency which is key for focus pullers/video village/directors.

I just received the 400m kit and shot a quick unboxing video

First impressions:
* Solid build quality, milled aluminum, built like a tank. Recessed SMA antenna mount could help with strain relief on accidental bumps. The rubber SMA covers will immediately fall off and are more for looks than lasting cover solution. (I am missing one before I even took it out of the box)
* No DC adapter for the receiver is a bit of a bummer, but I never used it for my previous set up so not a huge deal. Right angle lemo power cables would have been nice as well.
*Wish it were passively cooled. Going to test the fan noise output soon.

If you are in Los Angeles and are interested in checking it out, hit me up via PM.

Thanks for sharing Doug. It's a great little system. Plus...directors generally will drop their jaw when they see what monitor setup I have for them. haha

Here are a couple BTS shots from last week. Below I'm powering it off a Lipo with the Paralinx Lemo to JST cable.

Had my steadicam guy rocking Cinegears 400M as well as the Paralinx Triton - both in tandem. Sent 4 feeds out

8bit , 10 bit , 16 bit - BLA-BLA-BLA ...:nopity:

Some focus pullers works with monochrome display.
Some with rangefinder ....

In my first post no word about DJI LightBridge ...
DJI is really good product for all .
Except focus pullers ...

Well.

I talk about AMIMON CONNEX ( with ZERO DELAY ) ...

OK.

One question - You are using proprietary chipset for Your Ghost Eye ?

Thanks

P.S Second question : Why Your motors so UGLY instead elegant and powerful modern motors as the Viewfactor DLC-1 ?

I hate to be annoying, but is it possible to list exactly what comes in the package?
Also, if additional receivers are ordered, what comes with those?
I appreciate your hard work putting this together :)

Are the 150m the same as the recent Action Products group buy? Items look identical w/different branding.

Hi Travis,

We don't the exact difference because we don't own product from the other group buy which is run by Action Products.
We are not sure where their manufacture is located or their OEM.

But we do know that we work directly with the original manufacture in China and our product is made in China. We visited the factories and the assembly lines and talk to the crews.

The first generation 150M samples we receive from the manufacture are tested by film crews and DPs from US and Canada.
The results are not up to standard. The range is too short and the directional antenna from the receiver has a very small receiving range. Small movement from the camera crew and the signal drop out.
The image quality is also not up to standard. One of the member of the film crew also point out that the equipment does not come with a case and any equipment this expensive should have a case.

After a few generation
We
1) improve the range
2) Improve the picture quality
3) improve the receiving angle
4) Add waterproof case and internal foam.
5) Added the cinegears mounting brackets.

And some minor things

James

Very interested in the Ghost – Eye Wireless HDMI & SDI Video Transmission Kit 150M, but i cant find a review or real world test of the 150m unit.
For my budget it's a great fit with both SDI and HDMI.
