  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: Budget CRI 95 LED Strip Lights

Any new words on controller production?

I'm about 8-10 hours away from having imported all the orders for everyone that has logged in and updated their contact information. Once I'm done I'm going to reach out again to the people that haven't replied. If you are reading this and you haven't added your contact info yet, please do it as soon as you can so it doesn't delay things.

I have a list of people to contact who told me they were interested in a second group buy, and I'm going to contact them as soon as I finish importing orders. If that doesn't get us there, I'll take the password off the site and make it public so we can all share it on social media. I just need to get the orders imported and a couple things on the site finished off. It's nearly done.

That we pre-sold 800+ of these in a group buy is insane. They exceed the original spec, have been tested hard, and are rock solid. Now that I have my health back, thanks in large part to many of you, things are moving fast. We will be where we need to be by the time the holidays are over.

I know i've completely missed this GB originally but is there any way to purchase even at full prices?

I sent you a mail sometime ago, about my orders not being imported yet. Got no reply.
Also when are the controllers going to be shipped?

Its been really long. Years.
I feel like this GB was for building the factory where the lights would be manufactured, rather than the lights.
 
I know most people are waiting for controllers. But are the lights themselves shipping? I ordered and paid for some a while ago and have not heard when I can expect to get them. Thanks.

Not all the orders have been imported yet. Still working on it.

Lights started shipping more than 2 years ago. Over 200 people have received their lights already.

The delay with the controllers was less about building a factory than it was about rebuilding my health. I'm back and moving full speed ahead now. That's not to say they didn't take a long time to get right. They did, but now they are rock solid and ready to go.

I haven't looked up your order yet, but anyone who has been waiting to receive their lights until the controllers ship will have an option to upgrade to the mats if they want. They are more suitable for larger fixtures, which most people seem to want to build. The details are coming. Everything "new" is based on a 2 years of feedback from people using the lights.

The controllers are penciled in to start production on Monday. We are almost there.

There's another round of lights being made and those that haven't shipped yet are being moved to the new warehouse. Everything is going out together now starting next month when I fly back to the US to deal with all the inventory. That includes the mats, tubes, etc.
