  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: Budget CRI 95 LED Strip Lights

If it's not too late, I'd like to add one more variable spool to my order, so the total would now be 2 variable, 1 daylight, 1 tungsten. Thanks!

This Group Buy is now closed. If you want to be an alternate, in case anyone backs out, please PM me.

I sent pm with email to get the accessories pdf. Didn't get it yet..will resend pm.

It's going out today. Still waiting on some people to PM me their email.

I'm starting to send the confirmations out now with the accessories pdf. Keep an eye out over the next couple hours or so.

Thanks Brandon.

I'm still getting through these confirmation emails. It's a slow process, but I will finish today.

Still quite a few of you haven't sent me your email yet. Please do it ASAP.

There was one question about the power supplies. They are 110/220. They will work anywhere. I'm updating the pdf.

Again, thanks a lot to Brandon for doing this.
I´m sitteing down to refine my order and have one question:
If I want to build a 5*1m bank (kind of like the ones seen in the stills from The Master), do I need 5 connector kits pr unit to re-connect the strips that are cut in to 1m pices or is that done in a different fashion?

EDIT: Found the answer when I started to read through the pages here:

Better to post a link - not everyone has the default setting for number of posts per page! I only have 9 pages for the entire thread (cuts down number of clicks per thread).

I have a few questions before I can really plan my final order. I'm planning on putting together the equivalent of a 4x4 Kino (or I guess Celeb 400 now...)
  • What is the power draw and how much length can we string together on one desktop power supply and dimmer? Will overheating become an issue? I know that some of the LED panels in the market have built in fans for cooling.
  • How many solderless clips are in each connector kit?
  • Since the dimmers are controlled by remote, if I have multiple units in the same room, will one remote affect all of the dimmers (hoping it won't)?
Thanks again!
