GROUP BUY CONCLUDES APRIL 16, 2018

Hey guys/gals! Here's another crazy group buy opportunity to save a good chunk of change on the new Optoma UHZ65 4K Laser Projector!!! I've partnered with the amazing people over at ProjectorScreen.com along with Optoma to bring a killer savings (which you won't find anywhere else) for this newly released projector!!

Some of the Key Features Are:

  • Native Resolution of 3840x2160
  • Uses a Laser Phosphor Light with 20,000 hours of operation
  • 3000 Lumens of Light Output
  • HDR 10 Compatible Supporting REC 2020 and DCI-P3 Coverage
  • Dynamic Contrast Ratio of 2,000,000:1
  • Vertical Lens Shift along with a 1.6x Zoom
  • Comes with a 3-year warranty!

THE FIRST 7 PEOPLE WHO COMMIT TO THIS GROUP BUY WILL GET A GUARANTEED 20% OFF AND CAN PLACE THEIR ORDERS IMMEDIATELY!!

The Savings: - Retail Price is $3999

1-20 Orders - 10% Off = We Pay $3600

21-39 Orders - 15% off = We Pay $3399.15

40+ Orders - 20% off = We Pay $3199.20

Payments accepted:
Credit card
Paypal
Amazon pay

All payments must be made within 1-week of the conclusion of the GB.

Shipping will be FREE within the USA - except Hawaii/Alaska. Hawaii and Alaska buyers will need to pay $200 for shipping. Canada buyers expect to pay between $200-$400 for the shipping and may also incur import charges. All other international orders will be subject to shipping/import charges. A custom quote will be generated for you. If you live internationally, please email Brian at brian@projectorscreen.com and he can generate a custom shipping price for you.

For this high ticket item, it will be shipped to the billing address listed at time of purchase, otherwise, there is an extensive review process done internally by Projector Screen to prevent scams/fraud.

Sales tax will only be added to people in NJ, however, if you live there but are tax exempt, you can provide that info then you will not be taxed.

NOTE* If the projector is damaged during shipment, all costs will be covered to get a new one. If, however, you just don't like the projector (for whatever reason), the use must be less than 5 hours, and then you'd be charged a 20% restocking fee since they can't sell it as new.

If we hit the top tier before the conclusion of the GB, ordering instructions will go out immediately. Optoma has plenty of units in stock, so as soon as the payment info is received, your units will ship shortly thereafter.

Again, as always, please DO NOT share this info with any of Optoma's other distributors or retailers. This deal is meant for the RU community only, and it could go away if other retailers find out about it.

Here's to another group buy!!

High altitude mode above 5000ft??? LOLOLOL...

OK, I might be interested in one. Provided it doesn’t suffer from sequential rainbow sickness like many DLP systems and it has fast enough response time to use for interactive applications / gaming. The latency on the Sony units is killing me, as well as the prices, but they’re gouging everyone since they’ve been the only true 4K / UHD projector game in town.

In for one!

Gotcha down!

I haven't personally tested, but you can check the reviews in the initial post to see if you can see any of those rainbow artifacts. Let me know if you want me to put you down.

That is a good deal.

I have a question regarding the shipment.
Can you ask about shipment to Europe? It might still be cheaper with paying import taxes here, then to buy the projector here.

The Christie CP42LH projectors can do real 4K UHD. But they're not cheap.

It's very possible there will be lower-cost projectors shown at NAB next month, but it's tough to find a projector that will actually work in a professional situation and get you believable, calibrated images and reliable operation.

Email Brian at brian@projectorscreen.com and he can let you know how much shipping would be.

I too expect prices to come down, however, to already be able to get into a Laser system for that price is crazy. There's always a first company to do it, but it will probably be some time before the "bigger" players come on board.

Hi Chris

Please put me down for one

Thanks

General question about laser

General question about laser

I've seen DCP Laser projection in a theater and was dissapointed by the chormatic aberration (cyan/magenta) on hard/contrasty edges. Is it common to laser projector or was it a bad projection due to lens or some mis-alignement?

Thanks

Pat

Not sure regarding CA. I think what Optoma has done is incredible for the price though. Laser technology is amazing. You do give up some of the electronic lens controls that non-laser projectors have at similar price points, but in order to get the laser technology, you'd have to spend quite a bit more. My guess is it would have been a bad projection, or maybe the film itself.

Hey everyone, this is Brian from ProjectorScreen.com. My REDUSER account was finally validated so I am happy to answer any questions that anyone here may have. Feel free to let me know how I can help!

Brian;

do you have any callibration reports from CalMan or lightspace avb for review? preferably both P3 and 709?

I am totally IN!!! put me down for please

@Brian: do you know how much shipping to Austria would be?

Bastian,
For international shipments, we'd have had good success with www.borderlinx.com for our customers as a freight forwarder. For example, your shipment would cost around $360 via our UPS carrier vs $197.68 according to borderlinx (package dims are 23 x 18 x 12 & 27 lb).
They can also offer you the estimated taxes and duties, where we cannot. We do need to make special payment arrangements for orders being shipped to a freight forwarder, so please feel free to give me an email or hit me up on the site's live-chat to review options.
