Okay guys. . .
. . . what on earth happened here?
Fifteen minutes ago, I could happily click on any of my proxy files and my Quick Time would happily play them back for me.
Then, in going over some old files, I found a few reels that had nothing but what I call "the green screen of death." The files are there, they just won't play. Since these files blew up on both REDAlert and REDCine, I figured that perhaps those programs just needed to be updated. So I went on to RED.com and downloaded the latest versions of these programs. They still wouldn't play these old files for some reason.
So, I assumed that perhaps I needed to upload the latest QuickTime plug from RED. This I did. Now guess what? I can't click on my proxies and play them AT ALL! ALL I get with a click on the proxies is the green screen of death. . . this despite the fact that they played just find not 15 minutes ago.
I really want my click-and-play (in QuickTime) back. What did I do and what do I need to do to fix this?
