Great stories! I still have my F3, love that beast. Some of our children have used it in their photography classes too. It's probably my favorite Nikon. I do miss shooting with film sometimes. Having film made you felt like you had a loaded weapon that needed care in the direction you pointed because you only had so many shots available. One of the downsides of digital is the ability to shoot anything and everything, a la iPhone footage.
Brook's photo reminds me of the camera owned by a photographer I worked for after college. Not quite as big of a back, a mere 12" x 20" negative holder, but the grain was nonexistent on those images. A predecessor of the RED methinks.
