  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Grade my R3D Halloween

Ok let me add just one more still (this is awesome guys!)

A lot of the shots are steadicam, so a lot of motion blur, but heres another "static" shot.

Corey,

I like grain.

The final product will have "super-8" footage (actually 5D with a bunch of filters on it) intercut with the RED footage, giving it a "snuff film" feel, something you accomplished with your grade ;)
 
I like how Derek brings her right out :)
 
All grades uploaded amaze me.

Is it the camera or subject shot?

Either way, nice to have a good starting point either way ;)

Just have to say as someone who is trying to learn the basics of coloring for those shoots where we don't have a budget for an actual colorist -- this has been the most helpful thing to look at. You guys are incredibly talented and it's so interested to study which ones I like and see why. Bravo everyone and thanks for sharing your talents
