I do not know if it is good place to post it, but...
...
I would like to rehouse my 180mm lens. Something like those ones:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/251173198704?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
I mean full rehouse, not like DUCLOS Zeiss ZF mod.
...
I've solved all aluminium body parts elements production, engraving, steel mount production, screws sizes, inside mechanics and... i'm still looking for really good fluid grease to use. It has to be good as in DUCLOS 11-16mm lens.
I've tried few greases (machine grease, car grease, etc.) but it is not what i'm looking for. So maybe some of You have experience what grease should i use ? I want to put it on rings and de-clicked aperture. It has to be 'hard' one, temperature resistant, etc.
I will be grateful for any help. If You know which one is really good for rehousing - PM me. And if You know where to buy it - i will be even more grateful ;)

Artur it's not that simple.
Email me and I'll try to help you.
I've converted more lenses than most peeps owned in their lifetime....

Arthur, please do share your results and maybe the journey to get there. Sounds really interesting ;) maybe I can learn a thing or two. Do you have your own shop where you created the parts?

Just curious, any good rehousing paths for FD lenses that you guys know of?
I bought an FD mount and all the high speed FD's and they are so good so I would like to fit them with gears better front diameters and maybe even PL mount.... any ideas?

Guys, Guys, i just started to do this. I'm not a big producer, just a maniac ;)
I've started with Carl Zeiss Jena MC 180mm 2.8 with P.Six mount.
...
Some answers:
1) NYE dumping grease - all are good, but i think something between medium and hard is the best.
2) parts are produced in small CNC Factories in Poland.
3) first easy lenses, like this Sonnar or Biometar 120mm 2.8; if i manage it and it will work as it should i will start to do FD system lenses and Nikon G lenses.
...
If i know more i will share, no problem. But it takes some weeks/months.
