  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Jim, you guys have really pushed the envelope on what's possible with a camera. I'm amazed at what you've accomplished with Epic. I also know that sustaining that level of innovation is really hard to do. I think Arri and any other competitors would agree. Is your development posture moving forward able to sustain this level of aggressiveness? Is such a thing even possible from your perspective?
 
1 more question.

I'm a Paramedic right now, and for some reason I KNOW it's gotta be more blood pumping excitment taking place in the RED labs.

As i'm an adrenline junkie. So where can I find out about employment ops for RED.

I have NO issues with uprooting the 3 kids, and Mrs. Odom to work for you.

So where do i sign up?

Do the mini primes have filter threads?
What is the filter thread diameter for the 6mm? (Assuming thats the widest)

... because I'm filter shopping at the mo

In your opinion, do you think RED will bea able to meet and surpass the initial demand for 2/3's from current R1 owners so that non R1 owners can buy on the initial batch of cameras made?

TRUST me, thats a HUGE jump. I'm more than enthusiastic.

I work with PASSIOn, I'm GREAT under pressure, as trained by the current job.

Dedicated, trustworthy, and most of all OBEDIENT. If yiou say do this, do that, I WILL COME THROUGH.

My job would be to support the company in ANY way, shape or form.

OH, and my PASSPORT is good.

BTW, you said the life changing questions, and for me THIS would be a LIFE changing situation.

Get Scarlet done
Get REDray done

Then go on a vacation...

Jim, I'd love to work at Red too, but I wouldn't last 2 weeks. Think about it: Everybody from the Boss across is working 24/7 on problems that no "Fortune 500" company wants to go near. I mean do you actually have office hours? I bet the lock on the front door could get broken and no one would know about it for weeks. Then you have to listen to the incessant whining from all of us who aren't willing to pull the industry along kicking and screaming... while we kick and scream. You set impossible goals and achieve them, you're never satisfied with the status quo, what a meat-grinder... Hey, wait a minute, I'm actually learning a lot about myself here... ;)
