if you don't already know about the whole missing nuke thing (true story, at least as true as anything in history) or about the increasing numbers and size of jellyfish, you should 1. check out this film and 2. check up on that stuff

Being from Georgia, I do remember reading about the collision back in 1958 that caused the bomb to be dropped. I wouldn't worry about it, it's only an H-Bomb, harmless as a butterfly.

As far as I'm aware, my friend Pat Longstreth is relying heavily on Cinema4D and Nuke for the entire project - C4D has begun to stand out as a powerful (and less pricey) alternative to the Autodesk products. I did not personally do any post work on this particular shot, I've been involved with pre-production and helping supervise the effects shooting. Feel free to contact him for specifics if you're interested. If this is your kind of thing, I'm sure my buddies would really appreciate your support for their film, you may see me in there somewhere
