GEMENI 5K / 2x ANAMORPHIC SETTINGS: TRYING TO GET 18MM HIGH

Hello everyone, I'm doing some tests with the Gemeni and 2x anamorphics and I'm trying to use all the 18mm height of the sensor without having to record 30.7mm wide.

The closest format I have found is 4k - 4/3 which gives 23mm x 17.3mm (3840x2880)

The only way I have found to record 18mm high is by choosing a 1.7 aspect ratio which gives 30.7mmx18mm (5120x3000) but that is making more work in post to crop out left and right.

Is there any way I can set the camera to record 24mm x 18mm ? (in the highest resolution possible)

Rand, did you even look at his second attachment? He tried something called 5K 6:5; it's not the same.

I don't have a Gemini so I can't speak to the issue, unfortunately.

Nearly certain this was updated in the last firmware, I don't have a Gemini next to me to test, but it should be in there.

Today we shot 1.7 aspect ratio (2x ana) / 30.7mmx18mm.

Will try to check what firmware this camera has tomorrow.
