  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Update!!

1) Shipping is planned, in 4-8 weeks!

2) The Cine comes with a 1.184 arm - for stills you can add the 1:1 arm .

3) The USD vs. Eurp variance, since prices were first announced, shall be factored, as appropriate, when product releases and our Group Buy shall be then levied on the adjusted pricing.

Nick, what's the percentage of price discount on the price if we go through this group buy? Right now it's less expensive just ordering directly from the website.
It's not a difference in currency, applying both USD and Euro, calculating it to my own currency (swe krona) the difference is around $250 between here and the website.
Now those are just current prices between the website and the group buy, but if we are going to have a group buy it might need to go even lower than that, otherwise it's just easier going with the list price from brighttangerine.com

So I don't feel ready to apply to the group buy if it's going to be more expensive or if it's lowered to the same price as on the website. If the website price is €1229, what is the group buy price for that?
 
Thanks for the update Nick.. I was hoping it would ship sooner. Any idea when we might see a hands on review of the the product?

Hi Christoffer!

The details of tiered discounts are not officially released, at this time...Sorry. As soon as I receive the go ahead to post final details, I shall do so. Neither has the EU pricing been finalized, which is to be reworked, to reflect, among other things, currency fluctuations, between the time of the previously released pricing(s) and the finalized pricing, as shipping gets closer...and we are close to hearing about the finalized production units. The main holdup is the uber high standards of BT. They (like all of us) want a product, as has been BT's nature, that has been well designed and implemented, as well as proofed. With the myriad of parts contained within these FF units and their intricate interrelationships, a modification to improve one component or segment, frequently require concomitant modifications of other components.

The GREAT news is that BT has NOT taken anyone's money and this remains an INTEREST thread. Now, this thread will be reflective of the Interest list, when the actual GB goes live and final pricing and discounts are revealed. I, for one, have always been a proponent of the measure twice, cut...

I am looking for a reveal by NAB, but not 100%, at this point. Maybe even sooner. As soons as I know, I'll pass that info along.

Haha, well it WAS in the air, then we got a few more inches of snow... But it seems to be warming up again. I'll be heading to NAB this year (for the first time) so I'll be sure to check it out!
