Gauging delivery for Stage 3

So Stage 2 for Epic-X has officially started shipping. I'm psyched to see and hear that... I know that no official details have been released for Stage 3 in regards to delivery or accepting deposits, but I was thinking if we could find out approximately how many Stage 2 Epic-X cameras are shipping per week, we can gauge whether Stage 3 will start in a matter of weeks or a matter of months...

Again, I'm patient, love my Red One MX, and willing to wait as long as they need me too - but I love to have a ballpark idea as to when I might get my Epic-X.

With that, has anyone heard how many Epic-X cameras shipped this week? If they ship 100 per week, then it might be a few more months before Stage 3 starts. If they're shipping 300 or more per week, then Stage 3 might start before the end of October. All speculation, of course - but I want to my affairs in order for when Stage 3 kicks in. Thoughts anyone?

All speculation at this point; I'm guessing late October is optimistic but possible. It's totally unknown how high / how fast Epic-X production might ramp.

Yeah. You're totally right. Hopefully we'll get feedback from people on the forum as to what number Epic they got so we can gauge how fast they're shipping...

My primary thought for thinking that it might go pretty fast is that while they were waiting on the parts from Japan, they were continuing to produce all of the other parts - so the bottleneck would clear out quickly once the missing parts arrived. So with luck, we'll get some sort of numbers as to how fast they're shipping Stage 2 so we can ready ourselves for Stage 3.

Based on this thread for Stage 2 people, it looks like the first 32 Epic-X cameras have shipped or contacted people about taking delivery... Nothing past that yet. The members on that thread will be posting when they've been contacted to take delivery - so that will help us keep track of pacing.
