I just bought a SDI Galvanic Isolator (3G) from Alvin cables for my Komodo:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B8HGPVV1...ding=UTF8&th=1

I bought it to protect the SDI port on the Komodo. However, I find it difficult to mount it a place that doesn't get in the way, since I have a top handle and two side handles.

I'm currently using the Smallrig cage, although I'm switching to the Kondor blue cage soon.

Any ideas?

How does it get in the way in your set-up? I have a similar cable and, except for the one slightly larger connector end, it’s just like any other SDI cable.

May I ask what SDI protector you are using?

The one I have is quite large and awkward. It has to be fixed to a mounting point with a 1/4"-20.

Actually, I believe I have the same one from Alvin's. I just don't affix it to anything-- I just attach or detach each time I set the camera up, and I then organize it as I would other cables (e.g. bundled with other cables with a bongo tie or sprig, tucked under a plate, or swinging free in the breeze).
