Thanks Roger & Jarred,

Is anyone using the G-Raid safe?? If so how is it working for you?

I can't seem to find a write speed listed..any confirmed write speeds?

Dave

[David Mutchler]

Cool thanks Jarred

[Clayton Harper]

Too bad G-Tech's online prices are just about 15% higher than buying their stuff from a typical third-party vendor.

[Frank Weeks]

I am in need of more storage. What G-tech product do you recommend for fast, safe, economical stroage?

Thanks

Seen it used on many high-end productions I've been a part of.
I think it is the best product they make for safety and redundancy:turned:

Nice! Anyone use the G-Drive Mini?

Nice! Anyone use the G-Drive Mini?

I've been looking to get two drives to run off of bus power from my laptop (MacBook Pro - 17") when there is no direct power source. Does anyone have any experience running the G-Drive mini's?

It says that sizes above 160GB may not work- is it drive speed or size? If I got the larger 250 / 320 / 500 drives at 5400 rpm would those work?

[Carlo Rho]

Hi Valde,
are you able to buy G-Tech on-line? Last time I've tried they didn't ship outside US, so I think this discount is US only...

uh-oh.
i got for granted that international online-shopping was possible ... pretty disappointing.
fortunately there's always bhphotovideo, but obviously no discount there.
think they'll have to change their mind, pretty bad not giving international online shopping nowadays ... local g-tech resellers here are quasi-non-existent

[Curran Giddens]

Hmm.... I guess the 15% off discount no longer applies. Can anyone else confirm?
