Your value in the marketplace should ultimately be determined by the quality of the work you do, not by what tools you do it with.

The RED ONE allows you to do quality work NOW so don't worry so much about new cameras coming along that are technically better.

agreed, however im not worried about not getting work because of different pieces of gear. im worried about my Monetary investment.

but Jim, as always comes through and re-assures us that RED will take care of us.
so im not as worried anymore.. time will tell
