Fair question. Pete asked the same thing.

I'm looking at getting the Red Quick Release Dovetail Platform pack. I got the Wooden stuff in a package of stuff from another seller. I have no 15mm legacy stuff to use it with.

But maybe I'm just ignorant. For now, I'm going completely 19mm in terms of rails and platform.

Does that make sense or am I missing something?

Either way, Pete is the new happy owner of my stuff.

Thanks Andy! I love an easy and trusted off ebay transaction.

If I was starting from scratch I might go with the 19mm setup too. I already have a bunch of 15mm gear from my DLR setup, and the heaviest thing I am using it for is my Canon 70-200 2.8 len support.
If I ever upgrade to bigger lenses, or need a large handheld, or battery rig, I might upgrade to 19mm.
