hi there, any thing else for sale? looking for grip and wireless follow focus?

Hi Sam -- Nothing like that at the moment, I'm afraid. Might be selling a Kessler Pocket Jib / K-Pod Dolly set up in the near future, though.

£1250..? equal to 1.8K USD,
but new 1.2K!!??

It's in brand new condition, as it's never been used, and the exact kit over here (in the UK) retails at approximately £1393.52.

I'm now asking £500, without the filter set.

Looking to sell this as soon as possible, guys. Send me your best offer(s) and we'll talk.

Just to clarify; this sale includes everything you see in the photos, as well as an additional Knob Kit (in black), and a 1550 Pelican Case with a custom cut fitted foam insert, specially made to house the matte-box and accessories, safely and securely -- sans the Filter Set (which is now an optional extra) -- all for £500. I'll ship to anywhere within Mainland UK -- Just take this off my hands. Please!

Out of interest; how much is this item actually worth to you guys? I remember when this matte-box was a "MUST HAVE" accessory! And it's still great, to this very day.

To be honest mate I've seen the Redrock Deluxe Mattebox going for around £350 a few times on Ebay recently. Brand new (sans peli case and filters) it is under £800 inc VAT at CVP. I'm not in the market for one myself now but if you're wondering why it hasn't moved...

That's some depreciation...

Well hey, I guess I'd consider splitting the kit, if anyone is interested?

Over 3000 views and not a SINGLE offer. That's an accomplishment, even for me! Lol.

The Redrock microMatteBox and Knob Kit have been SOLD for £380. We've decided to keep the Pelican case. You can never have too many Pelican cases... until you run out of room to store them, of course.

The Redrock microFilters are still up for grabs. NEVER USED. BRAND NEW. RRP is £422.62. I'm asking £375, OR BEST OFFER. Will fit into any matte-box that accepts 4x5.65" filters. Here's what CVP have to say about them...

MicroFilter Circular Polarizer filter
A polarizer is probably one of the first filters any camera user should purchase. The principal use of the polarizer is to eliminate surface reflections, glare and hot spots from any light source entering the camera. This reflected light often shows up as a whitish glare which reduces the color in the image. The polarizer is used for colour and contrast enhancement and removes reflections from substances such as water and glass. It can darken a blue sky and increases colour saturation.

MicroFilter 0.6 Neutral Density (ND) filter
Neutral density glass filters (also known as ND filters) produce a grey neutral tone and are used to reduce light, enabling more control over exposure and depth of field without affecting color or contrast.

ND filters are especially useful in bright light conditions to avoid overexposure. When using wider lenses they adjust exposure correctly, allowing for reduced depth of field. This enables highlighting of the principal subject and taking the foreground or background out of focus.

The Neutral Density 0.6 filter reduces brightness by 2 stops of light.

MicroFilter Graduated 0.6 Neutral Density (ND) filter
A soft-edged graduated neutral density filter incorporates the same properties as a neutral density filter, but has the ND portion slowly introduce in the filter from 0% to 100% over the top ~50% of the filter's vertical size. This graduation is typically used to balance exposure outdoors where the sky needs to be stopped down but the ground remains a consistent exposure level. Combined with the rotating and positioning filter trays in the microMatteBox, the graduation can be rotated and moved to match the horizon line.

The Neutral Density 0.6 grad filter reduces brightness by 2 stops of light at its darkest tint.

Note: the microFilter Graduated ND Filter is a landscape (horizontal) graduated filter.
