How much are you asking? And why are you selling it? I have heaps of L series prime lenses that i wouldn't mind having the ability to use.

Hi Adam,

I'm selling it because I sold my Red a few months ago. I was very happy with the Birger/VF system.

I'm selling it as a package or separately. Installation is a breeze but Birger PL mount is vital if you what the option of swapping between Canon and PLs.

Birger Camera Adaptor + Canon mount US $700 / € 510

Birger PL mount US $300 / € 220

Impero Controller US $550 / € 400

So I dont have to buy any cables etc to work on the RED-MX and is the Impero controller the wired or wireless one?

All cables are included.

There is only one Impero. The Birger/Impero is a wired or wireless system. In terms of operation it functions equally well wired or wireless - the only reason I use it wired is to power it from the mount (cables included). To switch between them is just a matter of connecting or disconnecting the cable.

This video shows it off very well however it was made before the software was finished so the system now has more functions - amongst other things, you can change the gearing. The default is one rotation on the ff wheel corresponds to one turn of the lens - the highest setting turns the lens with a quarter turn of the wheel, the low setting gives two turns of the wheel corresponding to one turn of the lens.

You can also set two auto stops allowing you to set to marks and shift between them with the press of a button - useful if you are operating and pulling focus. I haven't used this function much but it is useful.

The calibration speed is between depends on the lens the faster ones take less then ten seconds.

My offer still stands at $1200 USD for the LOT + shipping if you wish to sell
