Marc,

When you bought the 300mm, was it a "battle-tested" version? And why are you selling it?

Hi all - it is the battle tested 300mm. I really question whether these are battle tested and simply not excess inventory. Afterall, why are there only ever two battle tested focal lengths - and not the others ? It was, and still is indistinguishable from new.
Why am I selling ? Easy - my canon mount arrives tomorrow, and I have the Canon 300mm IS II, so PL lenses are likely to gather dust other than fast WA primes.... Plus, I have a serious space issue - I keep everything in dehumidified cabinets.
Optically, it is superb and lives up to the bigged-up reputation fellow red users and Jim himself perpetuate.

The RED 300MM is an excellent piece of glass!

+1 - thanks Gunleik - I can only imagine the results you have achieved with this piece of glass.
Here is a link to some Epic footage from another super talented red user, using the 300mm.
