Did Jim not say that he would let us know Friday if the new schedule would still be feasible or if he would need to push it again? Maybe he did put up a post somewhere I'm not looking.

well he first needs to go through and update Red's #1-100 and my #27 has not yet been scheduled for update

There is no way Red can update all 100 shipped cameras before they ship 101-200 which I'm pretty sure are at Red already since they pushed so close to the last delivery date. And so many of the shipped cams are working it could be months.

It's true that he said he'd retrofit #1..100 and then restart production. But I assumed that would end up happening concurrently at least to some extent. I mean realistically some Reds are in very frequent use, not every one can halt production to ship it back at a moment's notice, I'd think.

Cool. Something tells me you won't be the only one working straight through the holiday. You guys are doing amazing things with such a small crew. Unless there is a room full of elves we are not aware of that are cranking out Red cameras behind the scenes.

I was at Red HQ a few months ago, I totally saw the elves, they are amazing, though the fact that Jarred made them call him "Lord Emperor Jarred" was a bit over the top, though they were awefully cute whilst saying it.

Except...that's what Jim said he would do, that the first 100 would be updated before shipment resumes. Of course, he can change his mind.

Not to toss beans into the park but I remember Jim saying that it would be impossible to upgrade all 100 existing cameras before shipping out the next batch. That will probably happen over a few months..
