  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

So theres about 7 clips (stock footage) in my avid timeline that were 25fps. My project is 23.98. I actually had some other clips as well that were 29.97. I imported all as dnx175. Everything seemed to import just fine until I had picture lock. I noticed all the 25fps clips were jumping ahead every few seconds. They looked like little glitches. The 29.97 clips were fine. When I talked to my assistant editor he said it was skipping because it's trying to keep up with the 23.98 timeline. He said resolve might be able to handle these clips better than avid. I recently did the conform in resolve and the issue is still there. Is there something I can do in resolve to fix this issue? Or do I need to grab the original clips and convert them to 23.98 then cut them into the resolve timeline? If so whats the best software for this without a lot of compression? Thanks!
