I am looking to understand which focal lengths in 2x Kowa Prominar Anamorphics would match closest a 35mm and 50m spherical lens FOV at 8K on the Helium. I am just not sure since the Helium is an 8K s35 sensor size, which I don't think allows me to use most of the pixel percentage in a 2x ana format.

Thanks guys

They only make 4 lenses, 40, 50, 75 and100, I'd go with the 50 and 75

8K FF sensor width is 29.9mm. 8K 6:5 sensor width is 18.9mm. We can factor in the 2X desqueeze here for an "effective width" of 37.8mm.

37.8mm / 29.9mm = 1.26.

So to get the same horizontal FOV in 8K 6:5 as a 35mm spherical on 8K FF, you need 1.26 times that, or a 44mm 2x anamorphic.
For the same horizontal FOV in 8K 6:5 50mm spherical on 8K FF, you need a 63mm 2x anamorphic.
