  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

...European Weather Forecast update coming in:

We just received the Notification that our WEAPON Woven CF BRAIN is ready to ship to us.

...no NDA Films planned on it so far, so when it arrives here in Germany it is going to be available including Accessories ready to shoot for everybody interested to rent and shoot on.

...Looking really forward to this new Milestone from RED and sending Nightly Greetings from Berlin!
 
I have also been sent an email saying my Woven CF weapon Brain has been "allocated." It should be one of the first cameras in the Antipodes although I reckon Toia may have beaten me to the punch.
 
Also just got the nod for the CF Upgrade to Woven Stealth...

Hi Alex,

I believe that it is on timestamp order, excluding Forged), after Jarred posted the link on RU, during NAB (somewhere around 3AM if memory serves). I was on it in secnds...;-)

...seconds is good, well done ;) .... i think we took a couple minutes more for our other cameras to order upgrades, so lets see when these mails hit :)

I am bringing my CF in to RED Irvine on Monday next and RED is quoting 7-10 business days for completion of the upgrade process, if all goes well. RED has ALWAYS over delivered on any service/upgrades that I have put before them, and I am therefore hopeful that I see it sooner...

I do recall that Carbon Fiber Dragons are first in line for upgrades, and non CF tronch will start after the CF's have been offered their respective, time stamped prenotations.

Checking my email inbox several times a day but no allocation notice yet. I was also up at 3AM getting the earliest time stamp I could manage. Even after being one of the very first RedOne owners, I'm still just as geeked up to get my Weapon ASAP. If only we could go back to original serial numbers... ;-)

Anyone have concrete evidence of the wait time of a forged upgrade in your hands once you order through bomb squad rep??

It's November, and with all the improvements in manufacturing execution, I figured RDC would be farther along in shipping Weapons. No offense to the RedTeam, I'm sure they are giving it all they have, but the more we see of Phil's tests, the more we want our Weapons!

Perhaps Brent or Jarred could give us a status update of some kind...

YEEEEeeeeeeessssSSS!

Stealth in da house AND...a bit less than the 7 days usually quoted upgrade time. BTW, they are REALLY busy at RHQ, with all sorts of kit going to and fro. A fortnight was in the back of my mind.
