  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ford "ICE"

Thanks for the link Evin,
and all my compliments for the great job.

Where is the last part (arriving at the air terminal) shot? Its loaded with signs in swedish like växjö, but I can´t remember seing such an airport in Sweden?

Evin, what lenses were used on this? Which ones do you prefer with the RED?

Thanks, great stuff!

This was shot at SFO in San Francisco. The production added the signs.

Nice work Evin, who's camera did you use?
Thanks,

The majority of the spot was shot on Cooke S4s and Angenieux Optimos. There was also a Century/Canon 17-35 and I shot all the aerials with an Angie 25-250 HR.

Overall my favorite lenses are the Optimos. I'd probably buy a Cooke S4 set as an investment but I like the Ultra primes a little better. It's hard because all this tasty glass really is like paint brushes, sometimes you want a broad soft tip other times a tight precise one. Really I want them all!

And I have to say, my humble Zeiss standards really are great lenses and have a look all their own that I find quite appealing, somewhere between the S4s and the UPs. The mechanics of course can't compare, but they get the job done and keep my kit affordable.

I pick up my Cooke 25-250 MII T3.9 tomorrow so I'll have a little more tasty glass to share with you soon.

Nice, great to finally see a cut of it. Hopefully I can get my hands on a 1080p version...

If you can host it I can probably send you the 1080p final. I look into the legal / clearance issues. Bad news... the final spot was mastered at 59.94i for broadcast. Good news: we built a 24p version just for the hell of it.

I can host it... let me know when you have it available and I'll get you the FTP info. You rock...
