  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

FOR SALE: RED ONE-MX CAMERA PACKAGE

You still selling? I'm debating between buying Scarlet and MX. I'd definitely prefer a used MX if it proves to be a good financial decision.

hey andrew red mx isn't full frame sensor it's aps-c roughly but I agree mx is much better camera than scarlet and your offer is absolutely insane. can't believe no one's snapped it up yet

Wow, i wish i could but, maybe in the next few years or so, i might get a RED one. Seems a lot better for me than a Scarlet :D

Red One better than a Scarlet? In what way? It can hold down more papers in a gust?

Why do yo feel the Red MX is better than Scarlet? You think Red MX is better than Epic too?

You are right about the "insane" offer. This price is fantastic but the camera is so heavy.

Like Andrew said, being able to shoot 2K at 120fps was the reason I went with Red One MX over the Scarlet. Once the price was released and I was actually able to get a Red One with accessories for less than a Scarlet with accessories, I went with the Red One. When the Scarlet was 3K for $3K, I was sold. Even went it went up a few thousand dollars, I was sold because it was going to offer 120fps at 3K. Once the price went up and the 120fps went down to 1K, I felt grateful that I fould a great deal on a Red One locally a few days after the Scarlet announcement. The Scarlet is still an amazing piece of machinery and the size is a great advantage. If the higher frame rates are important go with a Red One, if not go with the Scarlet. Neither is as good as the Epic, but you are going to pay quite a bit more for an Epic.

Dude, stop reducing your prices. You price is more than fair, the right buyer just hasn't seen your post yet.

Have you considered Ebay. There are Red One's on sale all the time on there, but you may take a hit on the fees. Something to consider. I would only go that route if you get desperate though.

Thanks for the suggestion Rogelio! We have considered that, but unfortunately, like you said, the fees are really a killer. We are really hoping to find a buyer through Reduser!

Unfortunately, as of right now, we are only selling this as a bundle. We will let you know if we change our minds. And Carey, I also sent you an inbox, but to answer your question, there are 853 hours on the camera. Thanks!

Would you be okay to send it to Red for an inspection prior to purchase? Also would you drop the price further due to the fact that this is not a complete kit?
