For Sale as a Set:

Zeiss Contax 25mm f2.8
Zeiss Contax 28mm f2.8
Zeiss Contax 50mm f1.4
Zeiss Contax 85mm f1.4
Zeiss Contax 135mm f2.8

Includes Back Caps, and Front caps (although 85mm just has a UV filter that I use as a cap. All in Minty condition except the 85mm which has an almost imperceptible to the human eye scratch on the front element, doesn't show up at all in footage on my MX.

These work great with the Red using either the Allstar mount, or with a birger mount and eos to C/Y adapter, or with a custom C/Y red Mount.

Or throw them on some other camera like a panasonic or canon or whatever. Or an old Contax RTS (great cam!)

Asking $1400 shipped and insured in the Continental US. Shipped in Los Angeles. Happy to show in person, and will have pics soon.

If you've never worked with these here is my description:
They are the poor man's Zeiss. The T Stop coatings are KILLER. They are neither too sharp, nor too soft for great useable, sexy, dimensional, natural looking footage from a Red. The Bokeh is nice, they are the crown royale of manual focus stills lenses. Truly great. In my eyes they surpass even the Compact Primes/CP.2/ZF lenses because they suffer from less chromatic aberration, and the coatings are more akin to the superspeeds and standard speeds which many of us know and love.

Bump for Dan. :)

I have several of the c/y zeiss that I have used on my Redone/Birger mount for a couple of years and they really are amazing lenses. They also work great on the canon dslrs. Also have a 300mm zeiss c/y that I have thought of selling if you need a long tele to round out the set.

Hi everyone - thank you for all the inquiries regarding these lenses - they are still for sale. My work schedule (thankfully) has prevented me from taking some nice studio pictures of the lenses. As far as footage taken with these lenses - have a look here:

http://www.teamgproductions.com/client/bulgaris/silkmaking_final.mov

This was shot with these lenses - I can't take credit for this excellent work - it was done by DP Eli Born.

These lenses will work with:
Canon 5D
Canon 7D
Rebel T2i
Gh-1
Gh-2
Panasonic AF-100
and many more with the use of adapters that have a median cost of $20 shipped from Hong Kong from Ebay. I recommend the use of the Allstar Mount for Red. This price does not include the allstar base mount, or the rear submounts.

I am selling _4_ contax Rear submounts for the Allstar system. These retail for $150/ea + shipping. I am selling mine for $100/each shipped in the continental US. Inquire about international shipping. Not ready to sell my Allstar mount for red - but it is very handy, well made and cost effective. Can't recommend it enough. Why am I selling? I just got married, I have a few bills I want to pay off, and I have access to a few different sets of lenses for my own personal shooting - which is what I bought these for originally.

These are GREAT for Red, or other large sensor camera shooting and are very adaptable. Some of you might be thinking 2.8 is slow - not slow on an MX at all, and sharp as a tack.

if you are waiting for pictures I will try to have them up today. If you are ready to buy before seeing pictures - just send me an email directly to:
