For Sale as a Set:
Zeiss Contax 25mm f2.8
Zeiss Contax 28mm f2.8
Zeiss Contax 50mm f1.4
Zeiss Contax 85mm f1.4
Zeiss Contax 135mm f2.8
Includes Back Caps, and Front caps (although 85mm just has a UV filter that I use as a cap. All in Minty condition except the 85mm which has an almost imperceptible to the human eye scratch on the front element, doesn't show up at all in footage on my MX.
These work great with the Red using either the Allstar mount, or with a birger mount and eos to C/Y adapter, or with a custom C/Y red Mount.
Or throw them on some other camera like a panasonic or canon or whatever. Or an old Contax RTS (great cam!)
Asking $1400 shipped and insured in the Continental US. Shipped in Los Angeles. Happy to show in person, and will have pics soon.
If you've never worked with these here is my description:
They are the poor man's Zeiss. The T Stop coatings are KILLER. They are neither too sharp, nor too soft for great useable, sexy, dimensional, natural looking footage from a Red. The Bokeh is nice, they are the crown royale of manual focus stills lenses. Truly great. In my eyes they surpass even the Compact Primes/CP.2/ZF lenses because they suffer from less chromatic aberration, and the coatings are more akin to the superspeeds and standard speeds which many of us know and love.
