Hi there, I'm sure someone can easily answer this;
I am on a shoot and we have had a Red camera turn up, fairly basic kit without a tape hook and there is no focal plane marked on the camera body. I know fairly closely where the focal plane lies, but for the purposes of calibrating the lens mount I would like to know exactly where it is in theory.
Would someone be able to provide a measurement to the where the focal plane is in relation to another part of the camera body, such as one of the seams in the body relatively close to the front of the camera.
Please note we have a custom lens mount so any measurements made from the front of the lens port may be different with the camera we have.
Thanks in advance.
