  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

whoa...are we children.Users on the future with technology and in the middleages about nudity and sex? as porn goes its just another market in the film world. I suppose if your called to rent your camera and know its porn youll turn the job away? yeah right!
 
Seen it - is it just me or this footage doesn't look that good? I admit that, with the weak connection and laptop I am using at this moment, I watched the downgraded version, but rather than something shot with a Red One, it looks like footage from a Z1 or similar. Honestly, that look could've been achived with something far cheaper than RedOne...bah!

As for those who felt offended by it, if you don't like the heat stay out of the kitchen.

Ok, finally back home and to my computer. I've seen the HD version and it is a lot better than the one I saw yesterday night - my apologies for some of the above comments - yet, in a way, I am disappointed - I always thought full-HD porn would've looked different, a bit more glamour...despite the camera, this one still feels more "video" than "cinema...well, it is the first after all (or the first one I see)...

It looked a little bland with some scenes being too "hip-hop cool" graded.

Pirates 2 looks beter IMO.

Yeah, that's what I thought. The bathtube scene especially looked rather cheap with that cold cyan tone - I remember seeing something like that in a couple of Private videos - which are rarely as good as the photos they do. I hope the next gen of HD porn will look like high-profile photoshoots...

I've heard that Belladonna Entertainment got a Redone too...everybody is getting this camera!

Well, Robby D has his style and that seems to be the way he likes it or so I've been reading. You can certainly see a lot of post tweakage in Island Fever 3 and 4 along with tons of filtering in much of his other work. I think it's done for the purpose of being artistic. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but the guy is always willing to do what it takes to get the money shots in his work and he's definitely one of the nicer folks in the business.

As far as additional REDs in the adult entertainment industry goes, I've heard rumors that Vivid and Wicked both have access to cameras now but I know there is at least one RED production kit being rented out solely for adult entertainment productions by an adult entertainment post production facility that got their gear at the beginning of the year.
