The only thing I think we would need to sort out in this scenario is to somehow indicate which audio channel is "selected", perhaps it would timeout to none eventually so you don't accidentally change an audio channel gain later by hitting the rocker. So going back this audio control thingy while we have Trent's attention...
In an ideal world I would have the 1 - 4 buttons on the top of the side handle mapped to each individual audio channel and the rocker would incrementally increase or decrease that. So to increase the gain on channel 1 by 2db I press 1, followed by the +rocker twice. All done. And quick and simple while recording or on set.
Better yet it would work as an incremental +1/-1 on any other mapped key choice you made.
Another thing I am unsure of whether it is possible to have a preset mapped to a key that would be the off speed choices with all adjustments made.
For example:
Preset 1:
Default
4khd
25fps
1/50 shutter
Preset 2:
2k off-speed
2khd
60fps
1/120 shutter
Preset 3:
Timelapse
5k
1fps
1sec shutter
HDRX
I understand there will be blackshading requirements for extreme presets but this would still save a ton of time. It may well already be possible so forgive me if I am just being dense.
Yes this is possible. You can create a preset for each of the scenarios you use often and the assign a key to "Apply Preset: Preset #". For more examples and details see the thread Customizing your camera with build 3.2.x
