You certainly have answered my main question Rand, which was which color space/gamma to use. Greatly appreciate your help.
 
The strength of IPP2 is really in post, so you could always use the older image pipeline in camera to get a nicer looking preview, and just use IPP2 in post. Usually the on-camera monitor will be more of a limitation than the image pipeline on camera.
