Film Making Masterclass with Final Cut Pro X

Edit 4X FASTER Using This TRICK [PROXY WORKFLOW Final cut pro x]

By TR Kerr

Create optimized media: This option transcodes video to the Apple ProRes 422 codec format, which provides better performance during editing, faster render times, and better color quality for compositing. If the original camera format can be edited with good performance, this option is dimmed.

Create proxy media: This option creates video proxy files. Video is transcoded to the Apple ProRes 422 Proxy codec format, which provides high-quality files useful for offline editing at the original frame rate and aspect ratio. Final Cut Pro creates medium-quality (one-half resolution) proxy versions that increase editing performance and take up considerably less storage space than optimized files.

Note: For better import and playback performance, Final Cut Pro automatically transcodes all MP3 audio files to MOV audio files. When transcoding files, Final Cut Pro always retains the original media for future use.

SpectrumGrades set used - Cine Collection M2

Used by professional film studios and filmmaker enthusiast.

PS: No lens filters were used in this film.

TIPs: If you want to process your grading of your films in a user-friendly and time-saving manner, the SpectrumGrades Film Emulation LUTs are the most powerful set of image enhancement tools designed for the Dji Mavic 2 pro series as well as other Dji drones.

The grades are technically accurate, highly sophisticated and stylish, which is a major factor for excellent quality cinematic grades. This is because they are designed by post-production and VFX experts.

All you do is apply the look you like and all the advanced grading is done for you with results that are truly excellent. They are extremely easy to use.

When using these tools, make sure you keep exposure balanced when filming. If you find you are over or underexposed, then just adjust your shot with exposure controls before the LUT is applied. If you like you can tweak the look to your specific liking.
It's worth getting them as they do make an amazing improvement to your footage
I use them on all my videos and you can see the results that you can achieve...

Remove DISTRACTIONS From Your Videos Editing Hacks FCPX

By Bobby Burns

FCPX May not have the content aware fill feature yet, but I decided to make a content aware fill video tutorial for all my fellow Final Cut Pro users! This fcpx editing tutorial along with a few fcpx editing tips will help you remove unwanted objects from your videos!

Gear We use | http://bit.ly/WcuKits

If you saw the update of the new adobe premier content aware fill feature, but you are using final cut pro x and are wanting to learn how to remove objects with a few final cut pro editing hacks then this tutorial is for you!

Adobe released content aware fill for premier and their video suite recently and it is able to accomplish some truly amazing things with just a few clicks. However, if you are looking for content aware fill in final cut pro x you are currently out of luck. I hope apple comes up with an answer soon but for now you will need to learn how to use masks in fcpx. By using the mask tool in final cut pro you will be able to remove anything in fcpx. There are certain things that may seem difficult to figure out how to mask in fcpx but hopefully these fcpx editing tricks help you get those pesky distraction out of your shots!

These final cut pro x hacks may seem intimidating to do but if you follow along step by step you'll see that they are actually quite simple even if you are a beginner!

This fcpx masking tutorial, and content aware fill video is unfortunately more time consuming than the adobe feature, but with patience you can achieve content-aware fill for video in certain situations.

I hope you bring you more fcpx editing hacks and tutorial videos on useful topics, so be sure to subscribe and follow along for new videos!

How To Color Grade In Final Cut Pro - Complete Color Grading Masterclass

By Casey Toland

This video will take you through how to color grade in Final Cut Pro X. These techniques can be applied to other color grading programs, but the color correction menu is specific to Final Cut Pro.

There are a lot of color grading tutorials out there, but I couldn't find one that was complete, free, and walks the viewer through exposure correction, skin correction, white balancing, log footage, and creative styling. I wanted to demonstrate these different corrections by using clips that were fairly difficult, this way you'll be able to easily color grade your own footage, and be able to salvage clips that were otherwise unusable.
