MacOS Catalina First Look: From Sidecar to Project Catalyst

By Engadget

After Apple wrapped its WWDC keynote today, the developers went to coding sessions and the press, well, mostly showed themselves out. As it happens, we later had a chance to see most of the new software in action in private demos. First, an important caveat: These demos were guided and hands-off, meaning we haven't yet had a chance to install the software on our own devices and use it as our daily driver. But, until these platforms launch in beta this summer, it's helpful to have had a chance to see these OSes in use, outside of what turned out to be a packed, fast-moving keynote. When Apple is demoing software on stage, you can easily blink and miss a mention of a new feature, or totally miss how it actually works.

mFilmLook FCPX Plugin - All-in-one Cinematic Look Plugin For Final Cut Pro X - MotionVFX

By motionvfx

mFilmLook #FCPX Plugin - All-in-one Cinematic Look Plugin For Final Cut Pro X.

https://www.motionvfx.com/store,mfilm...

mFilmLook is an all-in-one plugin created for professionals who know their post-production pipeline inside out, but also for new filmmakers who wish to process their footage according to the current industry standards. It combines a set of tools necessary for color correcting, a fully-featured LUT library and a set of high-quality color grading and post-processing effects that can turn a simple clip into a cinematic masterpiece.

mFilmLook contains a set of easily-adjustable effects meant for processing the digital image, as well as dozens of presets that can be used out-of-the-box. It was designed exclusively for FCPX and uses the full potential of the app providing instant access to all necessary components with on-screen controls, making the workflow more intuitive and effortless. MotionVFX approached the creation of this plugin in a fully professional way, putting all the real-life cinematic effects under a precise scrutiny and re-creating them right inside the plugin in real time and in the right way. Now you can accurately correct, grade and stylize any clip, giving it a film-like vibe while preserving the details from your original footage.

The plugin is a set of customizable tools with multiple semi-automatic features for maximum control and ease of use. You can set the Color space to normalize the input clip for further processing, adjust the White Balance, tweak the multiple Levels sliders and then move to more elaborate post-processing effects like Grain, Aberration, Lens blurring, Vignette, LUT grading and Off-screen flares. Applying a combination of the effects results in a truly filmic atmosphere of the processed image. Working with the plugin is intuitive, easy and has a logical flow that leads you from one adjustment to another in a right order.

We created an affordable solution for turning your videos into genuine film scenes right inside FCPX. This all-in-one plugin gives you a complete set of tools necessary to instantly create a cinematic production out of ordinary shots. Fast, easy and without going into professional complexity of filmmaking. Drag, drop, customize and tell your story to the world! It's a huge step towards pro cinema for every filmmaker and editor and a must-have plugin in your professional toolbox
