FEELER.

I'm thinking about selling my PL mount lenses and have the Red Pro Zoom 17-50 as well as the Duclos 11-17. Both are in excellent condition. As for the Red 17-50 It's no longer in the red store so if you want one make me an offer. I paid to get the updated hood for an additional $250 and have the new lens cap.

With the technology available today for mobile work PL makes no sense anymore.
And that's coming from someone surrounded exclusively by PL glass for 25+ years

I beg to differ.
i own those 2 lenses and wouldn't trade for any Canon or Nikon glass.
And it's not very nice to diss someone's gear like this.

I'm not dissing any gear(can you please point me to the part of my post where I "diss" and where I talk about specific "gear"?)- I've made living off PL glass for decades. Repairs, conversions etc. He's selling his PL glass and I concur- that's all...

All good. I know what you mean. I hate selling lenses and I really don't want to sell these but I feel I need to go in a different direction and the lenses I will need are'nt PL. Thats all. The minute I posted this Red Pro Zoom I felt guilty.
