Ok... I may be totally unaware of this feature, and if so... please hook a brother up with some info. I am the king of stupid questions.
As far as I can tell, there's only a button that allows us to snap A.D.D. shots. The button, once pressed starts the process of converting to the .tiff file, however... Randomly, for some reason, it also disables the playhead controls from the keyboard. In order to re-enable the keyboard arrows to cycle through the r3d files frame by frame, you have to re-click on the timeline of the file which moves the playhead from it's current position.
All well and good, however...
I do ALOT of composite photographs for work, visually showing the dynamic motion of our robots for conference posters/presentations etc... So... I generate image sequences, then photoshop the shit out of them (pardon my lack of french)...
It would be super nice to never have to touch my mouse during this process.. just use the arrow keys to find a frame, snap the frame with something like (command /), hit the arrow keys to advance a few frames, snap (with command /), continue...
As it stands right now, it's a wrestling match between passing off control of the software between the mouse and keyboard.
Is this functionality built into RedCine X already?
