Thanks to your input, I've got myself one too.

Love the image quality. Have yet to actually use it on a job. Will give my two cents worth when I do.

Shooting with it this Thursday with new software. Will report back. Just used it extensively with old software on Ronin with Paralinx. Performed without issue. It you do use it with Ronin, I'd suggest making a small top leaf from black chloroplast to extend the hood a bit for skylight glare.

I updated my firmware and this little monitor rocks. The only thing missing for me are LUTs. But as a focus, exposure and viewfinder it's quite incredible. I prefer it over the Bomb as its clarity, color and sharpness are excellent. The colors are quite neutral out of the box. I also like that it has buttons and is not a touch screen. Anyway, the new firmware, solved all issues and the weird random lines I used to get on Reds is gone. How it stacks up against the the 502 remains to be seen. It's 720p but no distortion on the EVF and the unit in monitor only is smaller at 4.3".
