  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

F/S: Cooke iPanchros / Mini S4s.

Beware, Timur, S4's slightly vignette at 5k on certain focal lengths. Recently ran into that issue. Very very slight but there.

I know the 65mm & 135mm are in the works but 40mm???
 
I've also worked with Timur and this specific set of lenses. Superb quality and meticulously maintained.

Def buy with confidence. with those new focal lengths coming if you are looking for a set of panchros/mini S4's this is the set to buy.
 
just a reminder for everybody, with Dragon on it's way, the 2.8 on the panchros will feel like a t2 or less easily. optically and mechanically it's cooke all the way, not rehoused still glass, or made to be cheap glass with tons of compromises, they are small, light, well built, and optically everything you expect from cooke. just thought I'd throw that out there for anybody on the fence, I've worked with these lenses a bunch and just wanted to put my final 2 cents in about it.
 
As far as we know this is the only complete set of Cooke glass that covers 5k epic and will probably cover 6k dragon. Until dragon's final spechs is a matter of faith.
 
i believe dragon is a few decimal points of millimeters larger than the "intended image circle" of the panchros. meaning they'll probably still cover but nobody knows what the edges will look like. could be fine, could be a soft on the edges or a slight vignette. but that's something to have to be seen when the sensor actually does come out. nobody really knew what would cover 5k until epic finally hit the market.

with a 21mm and a 27mm coming later in the year !!!

Cooke are putting a lot of time and effort into building the miniS4i into a very comprehensive set of glass, i really feel that they are the glass to have, form factor is superb, sensors are getting more and more sensitive. I got a very early set and have never regretted it, my 135mm comes very soon and i ordered the 65mm and 40mm.

Someone should snap this set from Timur, waiting lists are getting longer for these lenses.
