To repeat ones more to everyone here that HDRx™™ is must have on Scarlet otherwise

that "little dog camera" without that feature could very soon become something as a "dead born kid".

And to be clear on this just because "COMPETITION NEVER SLEEPS".

The rest is a work of tailor.

Just do it.

I say no. Here's why, everyone and their grandmother is going to get a Scarlet. If all Scarlets have HDR, guess what, there is gonna be just an overload of HDR. Save the HDR for the big boys that know how to use it.

You mean the unwashed masses don't deserve HDR with their entry level digital cinema camera? Scarlet left the soccer mom category two years ago.
I know many hobby still photographers who shoot HDR and I for one as a serious hobbyist would love it and do know how to use it.

My grandmother lights like Rembrandt meets DaVinci. She wants HDR on her Scarlet DC16s.

And she's 6'5".

HDR for we, the filthy, unwashed masses/little boys!

Everyone and their grandmother is going to get a Scarlet.

That's for sure.

Also as I said before that HDRx™ should become something similar as a main RED camera trademark (that is already).

It something as a car air condition.

You sell worldwide and everybody needs this.

In hot, cold or in between those climate countries.

HDRx™ is something to get more options about exposure flexibility and also everybody needs this.

Magic Motion HDRx™ is about a new revolution in acquisition of moving images.

If Scarlet doesn't have it then is not revolutionary product and it will look as a camera that't not made by RED.

So by keeping it exclusive we save ourselves from having to compete with grandma? Is that really what you mean?

If you're afraid that my Grammie is going to show you up, then I think you need to hit the books and get your shit polished.

Francis Ford Coppola said:
To me the great hope is that now that these little 8mm video recorder and stuff now, some–just people who normally wouldn’t make movies are going to be making them. And, you know, suddenly one day some little fat girl in Ohio is going to be the new Mozart, and you know, and make a beautiful film with her father’s little camera-corder and for once this whole professionalism about movies will be destroyed forever and it will become an art form. That’s my opinion.”

I just talked to that girl and she and her daddy are in the market for Digital Cinema 16 Scarlet, and she said she needs the HDR. Now.

It ain't over til the fat girl screens. [with 16 f-stops]

I don't know man, my Granny is pretty badass with a camera, you know, once you show her how to turn it on, & which button to press to put it in photo mode, oh, and then tell her where to turn to knob to put it in auto, no, no, the word auto has to be lined up with the notch, no, I don't care if you'd prefer it to be pointed toward the front that's now how they designed it, no I'm not getting angry I'd just like you to listen, yes, yes I remember the story you told me about your friend Mildred when she forgot to wind the film, yes you hold it so you can see the screen on the back, there's not an optical view... optical... nevermind just look at the screen, ok now press the button, no that was the photo mode button I mean the big button on top, yes good, no it went away to save battery not cause it deleted it's still on the card, card, no not film it's electronic, well you plug it in the computer with a usb cable, yes the rectangle one, well you open it up in the software supplied with the camera and print it out, software, it looks like a cd, yes the shinny record, you know what Granny, I love you but I've got to get going...

Also I talked with another slim girl from Milwaukee and she told me that she also want to have possibility

out of the box to play with different stock LUTs in camera especially with newest ETERNA Vivid 500 & 160 or Kodak VISION3...

Such a great idea about the camera that can do "spitting newest stocks" out of the box!!!!
