I said so in August, when you whispered about a "tracking code" and I was on the plane - actually got there before the package ...
I so love this technology, the scent of burning "competition" ...

In my book it is the best piece of imaging technology & spirit there is in the known universe.

I know, I use gear a bit different and don't care about specs and tests ... I care about the magic ...

This thread is named "extended magic hour" ... And expresses how I feel. It is the pencil that I choose to draw, I have been waiting, all my life.

Guess i could make a thread with the first two weeks of "concept shooting" for my "Everything Beta Film" - I did that a couple o´weeks ago on the Epic MX with canon glass and some zeiss PL ... (will insert a link here, when done)

I guess there are two ways to " lighting it" ... (let´s not speak about the 3rd, which is doing nothing)

1) setting up the light, which i´d say i manage any style i want to,
but as we all know, it takes a lot of time and heavy lifting ... so, not my preferred way any more ... i like to move fast.

Of course, there are situations, where setup and rigging and everything is justified, even motion controlling ... i am a big fan of that ... but not so much in everyday life ...

leading to the practice of:

2) "seeing it" ... hunting it, i should say ... and putting subjects in there ....
which is my preferred way of doing it ... these days ...

+ handheld
+ Dragon
+ light weight canon

... makes for a pretty sweet, fast, run and gun, hunting experience ... )

Looking forward to shoot a narrative like this ...
