Hey folks,

I am trying to export jpeg snapshots from my epic-w in redcine and every time i get "errors detected in export. Frames: 0"

The r3d snapshots works fine. Is there anyone else who experiences this issue? Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks.

Hi David,

I seem to be be having the same trouble with exporting jpeg's and tiff's.

What iv'e experienced so far is that I can export jpeg's and tiff's if I only make edits in the Look: Image, Curve, Lift/gamma/gain panels.

As soon as I enable anything in the Post:Look:Effects tab, then rcx just hangs on any snapshot export. It just keep's running at 0% progress. I've left it for a few hours to make sure, and still no luck.

Maybe we can try and figure out exactly what the issue might be.

Im running on a Mac Pro Mid 2010 OS Sierra 10.12.3, 2 x 2.93 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon, 32 GB 1333 MHz DDR3, ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB

Cheers.

Just to confirm David. I only seem to be having these issues with my Epic w 8K FF clips. Just tried exporting Tiff's with Post: Look: Effects applied on 5K Epic W footage and no problems at all.

I've also noted that Advanced Dragon Debayer (ADD) Snapshot is not enabled on any 8K clips. I wonder if this has something to do with our problem??

Cheers.

I've exported quite a few stills from RCX without problems, and I have not been using Advanced Dragon Debayer. I tried it once, and it made the export take so long that I cancelled it.

What I've exported has mostly been with fairly minimal looks in RCX; just the basic stuff, RWG + Log3G10 + IPP2 preview LUT, exported as PSD usually.

Try your epic at 6K and see if that works. When the team at Glazer's camera tried exporting 8K ANA 2:1 stills from the Weapon s35 it wouldn't work well. But I overheard that 6K stills do fine.

I've been having this same problem in all resolutions and every time I try it. Always says "errors detected in export" - whether it's 8K FF or 5K WS on my Epic-W. Any ideas?

To people experiencing this please post what OS, GPU, what acceleration method (Cuda, OpenCL), and if possible general system specs.

Otherwise anybody who can help with this is working utterly blind.

I'm not able to export quicktime files, prores 4444 files. I have Redcine version 50. Operating a 2009 Mac Pro flash to 5.1 with Sierra and 1080Ti Nvidia gpu, 128gb ram, dual 3.46 processors, 500gb ssd system drive, 8tb media drive, 3tb Raid-0 Media 2 drive. Doesn't work whether it's cuda or open gl, I've tried.
