Explanation of different sensor sizes in Scarlet-W vs. Scarlet Dragon?

This may be a dumb question but does anyone know why the SCARLET DRAGON would cost 4k more than the SCARLET-W? Scratching my head why you would get a older model that costs more.

from what i understand they still sell the original DSMC cameras every day. that would include the SD. I heard people walk into the red store in NYC off the street and buy cameras all the time so why change the price (mainly people coming from other countries who do not want to pay shipping, or red simply doesn't deliver to their home country). they will most likely phase them out when they think the time is right. and don't forget 6k is a big deal, scarlet-w doesn't have 6k

Edit: One more thought. Jarred Already hinted at a price increase for the Raven.. Nothing to stop them from increasing the price of the Scarlet-W.. The price for the camera with these features is really really nuts... It's Scary.. I mean...they already said they have sold a "butt load" of the Scarlet cameras, and the number of Ravens ordered is prob through the roof.. My advice: Get in line now

Made plenty of sense to me. If you think nobody will ever, ever buy something that isn't THE absolutely latest and greatest, dial up eBay and search iPhone 4.

Nope it doesn't. Because it is years out of production. Scarlet Dragons are not.
