exciting friskies cat food commercials shot on red#0031 pre M-X

[Jonathan Stevenson]

Oh my god, what a bat-shit crazy commercial! I fricken loved it. It's an insane concept not even related to cat food, but guess what? It's memorable. And that's the point of a commercial isn't it?

Your spot doesn't quite beat this one though...

I swear to god they starve these cats for 3 days to make them eat the cat food so ferociously like that.

Mmm tasty! I feel so hungry now, I could eat a cat

so when i posted this link yesterday, the commercial had about 3500 views, now it is well over 20,000. although there are only 300+ views here on reduser, if each of you told 5 people and they told 5 people and they told 5 people that is 37,500 more views...which is kind of where it is going...

i am on set with the client and they are stoked...so thanks for sharing!

To be honest, the reason I watched this commercial in the first place was this comment:

Wait a minute.. Was that a commercial for cat food or L.S.D. ?

[Jeff Kilgroe]

The concept freakin' rocks. The CG was just OK, but there are always limits on time and budget. I don't envy you trying to herd cats around.

While we're on the subject of cat food commercials... I'm still wondering how all of the cat food makers out there missed the obvious tie-in with District 9 marketing. Hehe.
